We don't recommend machine washing your mohair knit, but instead to hang it in the bathroom during a shower as damp steam will keep it fresh and get rid of odours. You can also freeze it in a plastic bag for several hours.

Mohair has natural anti-bacterial properties, therefore the fibres do not allow bacteria to accumulate. If you would prefer to wash your mohair knit, we recommend washing it on a gentle wash program at 30 degrees, or gently hand washing it.
